The story

SlideNote started as a personal itch: every other note app wanted me to open a window, pick a folder, and sign in before I could write a single line. I just wanted somewhere to put a thought — instantly, then gone.

Built for the in-between moments

The fastest note is the one you never have to go looking for. SlideNote lives at the edge of your screen and answers to a single keystroke, so capturing a phone number, a code snippet, or a half-formed idea never means breaking your flow. When you’re done, it slides away.

Yours, and only yours

No account to create, no server to trust, no sync you didn’t ask for. Your notes are plain files on your own Mac — fast to search, easy to back up, and impossible for anyone else to read.
