- Press ⌘⇧⌥N, or move your mouse to the left edge of the screen.

Common questions
The hotkey doesn’t work
Another app may already be using ⌘⇧⌥N. Open SlideNote from the menu bar icon, and you can reassign the shortcut in Settings.
Where are my notes stored?
In ~/Library/Application Support/SlideNote/ — entirely on your Mac.
Can I sync between Macs?
Not yet. SlideNote is local-first by design; sync is on the roadmap.
How do I create a new note?
Press ⌘T while the notepad is open.
How do I switch between notes?
Press ⌘K to open the quick switcher.
How do I delete a note?
Press ⌘⌫ while the note is active. SlideNote will ask you to confirm first.
Privacy
SlideNote does not collect any data. No analytics, no tracking, no accounts. Your notes stay on your Mac.
